This event follows on from a PtP roundtable discussion on Migrant Workers on 20th January. This second event will give participants an opportunity to have a more structured and in-depth discussion on practical approaches to managing the impact of migration. In particular it will focus on how agencies can work in partnership to ensure services respond to the challenges and opportunities of migration.
The event will offer participants a chance to share models of service delivery that respond to increasingly diverse and transient populations. It will also provide them with in-depth understanding of the key sub-regional, regional and national strategic bodies for migration through a presentation by a representative from the new South East Migration Partnership.
Who should attend?
This event is aimed at primarily officers and managers from local authorities and other key agencies, such as the Learning & Skills Councils, Jobcentre Plus, Housing Associations, Primary Care Trusts (PCTs), schools and local Police.
