The purpose of the event is to:
Launch the programme and the A2P Diagnostic Toolkit
To build on the themes identified through the Aspire 2 Perform diagnostic work
To test the demand for a peer learning approach
To build support for peer led activities
To inform the content of further events in the region
The event will bring delegates up to speed on the latest developments for LSPs in the region, the impact of work to date, and the plans to support LSPs in the future. Further background on this is attached setting out the importance of LSPs in delivering improved quality of life outcomes for our communities. It also demonstrates the scale of challenge we all face and emphasises the need to work together though the Network if we are to achieve our full potential.
We will also draw upon the experiences and benefits of Progress through Partnership (the LSP support programme in the south east region). Representatives will give feedback on the activities of the PtP programme and will look to focus on the impact and benefits these have had in the region.
The final and most important element of the programme will involve facilitated discussions by small groups of delegates on their partnership needs, and the support they would like to see offered by the programme.
