The Government Office for the East of England covers Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. It aims to bring together into a single operation the varied regional activities of a range of Government departments with the aim of making the region a better place in which to live and work.

PtP have been working with Go East recently to help launch The Aspire 2 Perform Programme, the Eastern Region's equivalent of the PtP Programme in the South East.

Aspire 2 Perform will provide capacity building and support to LSPs in the East of England. PtP coordinated the launch event on behalf of Aspire 2 Perform.  Alex Stewart the new A2P Programme Manager will be taking up the post in May 2008 and will lead the programme in future.
