Portsmouth Strategic Partnership
Portsmouth plan to use their PtP funds to support a variety of activities to help increase their partnerships capacity to deliver. One seminar planned will explore how to make best use of the existing local third sector groups to deliver projects and look at how additional funds can be accessed. Some of the funds have been used to support the facilitated delivery of the annual conference in November 07 and a post event report.
Portsmouth are using PtP associates Davy Jone & Sue Couchman in March 08 to deliver some Performance Management training to explore the links between governance arrangements, performance management and the impact of the LSP. This training will aim to identify how to increase the impact of the LSP especially with local people.
Portsmouth will also be planning a workshop in the Spring to consider how the new chair should be selected and whether the current LSP is fit for purpose in light of the LGIPH Act and the review of the SCS.
