LAA PLUS is an independent national network of local authorities and LSPs who come together to share learning, promote good practice and tackle problems.

LAA PLUS is a national, practitioner-led network of local authorities and LSPs, offering comprehensive delivery support to LAA practitioners. LAA PLUS provides an annual programme of events, dedicated delivery support, good practice and opportunities to influence LAA policy.

The LAA Plus Provides:

• 8 hours of dedicated support tailored to meet your needs - whether that is research, facilitation, developing an evidence base or developing delivery mechanisms.

• The LAA helpline

• An online community of practice and a monthly e-bulletin on the latest LAA news and developments.

• Case studies, good practice guides and other practical materials.

• Opportunities to influence policy through working sessions with CLG and LGA on the development of LAA policy.

• An informal mentoring network providing peer-to-peer support.

PtP and LAA PLUS are exploring more collaborative joint working to provide LSP and LAA support on issues such as cross-boundary working and performance management in two-tier areas. They have run a sustainability event together and have future LAA workshops planned.
