Tracey is a partnership manager working for a community development association to regenerate a deprived manufacturing town. Her special interests are project management, strategic partnership work, thematic agendas, demographics and statistics, intergenerational work, business support, innovation, and community-centred regeneration.

Knowledge and experience

Two and a half years as chair of Lewes LSP, to December 2008.

Experience of community engagement:

Currently a board member of RAISE and community governor at local senior school.

Experience of leadership:

Qualified manager with wide experience of chairing partnerships. Previously managed departments of up to 250 staff, and managed a variety of smaller teams.

Action planning and tracking/monitoring progress against agreed outcomes.

Qualified adult education teacher, so has planned and delivered a wide range of accredited and non-accredited courses.

Practitioner Associate case study

Assignment: Cross-border conference for six LINks groups

When: 21st January 2009

Practitioner Associate: Tracey Evans - facilitated

Host: East Sussex LINk

Approximately 60 people attended the conference from Surrey, Kent, Medway, East and West Sussex and Brighton & Hove – bringing together 6 local LINks for the first time. There were very positive contributions from the participants. A post-conference pack, and a possible case study, is planned by the host team from LINk.
