The 6th edition of the LGA Improvement Newsletter is available from the LGA website.
This edition includes the publication of the joint LGA/CLG National Improvement and Efficiency Strategy, recognising councils' achievements in improving services in recent years and it sets out plans to simplify improvement architecture. There's also an update on the National Indicator Set, consultations on the new place survey and the Assessment of Policing and Community Safety.

People & Participation.net is based on the previous Involve book and provides a useful summary of participatory methods and practices. The website has been developed so that these methods and practices can be kept up to date.
