The New Place Survey – Government Consultation
The New Place Survey was published by CLG in December. This will replace the Best Value User Satisfaction Survey; the government is currently consulting on the document.

The Future for Lifelong Learning: An Independent Commission of Inquiry
This is a briefing on the current progress and future plans for the Inquiry into the Future for Lifelong Learning. The inquiries aim is to make recommendations for a strategic framework that will maximise the contribution that adult learning can make. Cabinet Office, Briefing for LSPs NI 7: Environment for a thriving Third Sector
The Office of the Third Sector (OTS) has published a briefing note to provide Local Strategic Partnerships (local public, private and third sector representatives) with more information and guidance on National Indicator 7 – ‘An environment for a thriving third sector’. It includes information on why NI7 has been included, how performance will be measured, the new third sector survey and guidance on agreeing NI7 improvement targets.

Local/Regional discussions on rural proofing of Local Area Agreements
